My friends and I went to our local mall to go Unique Prom Dresses shopping about a month or so before our senior prom, and I saw this unique gold dress that reminded me of something an Egyptian goddess would wear. I thought it’d be funny if I tried it on and cracked jokes about my godliness or whatever, so I took it off the rack and headed for the dressing room. While I was in there, it became less of a joke. It fit perfectly and the color went well with my hair and skin tone. I stepped out of the dressing room and paraded it in front of my friends, who all approved with ooo and awws and “omg that’s so cute.” I didn’t buy it that day, but after looking around at another mall and coming across it again, I couldn’t find any other dress to top it. So, I was an Egyptian goddess at my prom, and I absolutely loved it.
